    Place the flour, salt and water in a bowl, mix to a smooth dough and knead for 5 minutes. Cover with oiled cling film and leave for 10 minutes.

    For this step you'll need:

    • 250g Strong white bread flour
    • 1tsp Salt
    • 225ml Warm water

    Divide into 12 equal balls. Grease your hands, the work surface and a rolling pin with sunflower oil and roll out each ball of dough into 15cm circles. Roll out and cook one at a time, lifting the dough over the rolling pin and into the pan so that it does not stretch out of shape too much.

    Cook each tortilla in a large ungreased frying pan for 30 seconds each side (keep warm and covered in the oven).

    These are delicious filled with Mexican stir fried chicken or beef, salsa, guacomole and sour cream.
