    Place all the ingredients (except the raisins) into a mixer with a dough hook attached.

    For this step you'll need:

    • 500g Country grain bread flour
    • 100g White caster sugar
    • ½tsp Salt
    • 100g Margarine
    • 75g Milk (whole) warmed
    • 75ml Warm water
    • 1 Easy bake yeast sachet

    Mix to a soft dough, knead for 5 minutes. If mixing by hand, knead for a 10 minutes.

    Roll the dough on a floured surface to a 30 x 23cm (12 x 9in) rectangle.

    Sprinkle with raisins and roll up like a swiss roll.

    For this step you'll need:

    • 175g Raisins

    Place seam side down into a 1.1kg (2½ lb) loaf tin, leave to prove until double in size. Preheat the oven to 190°C (170°C fan, gas mark 5).

    Bake for 35 minutes.
