Ingredients
- 1½ kg Blackberries
- 1½ kg White granulated sugar
- 120 ml Water
- 250 ml Apple pectin
- 1 Lemon(s) juice from

                        1Place the blackberries, water and lemon juice in a preserving pan, bring to the boil. Add the apple pectin then simmer and a low heat for 20 minutes. For this step you'll need:- 1½kg Blackberries
- 120ml Water
- 1 Lemon(s) juice from
- 250ml Apple pectin

                        2Tip the mixture into a jelly bag and leave to drip overnight. 
- 
                        3Add the water or enough water to make two pints of liquid mixture. Place back in the preserving pan with the sugar and heat over a low heat until all the sugar has dissolved, approximately 10-15 minutes. For this step you'll need:- 120ml Water
- 1½kg White granulated sugar

                        4Skim any scum from the top of jelly and fill sterilised jam jars. Cover, seal and label.
