Today we have one of the most important, sides, mashed potatoes. I don't know about you but sometimes after cooking a big holiday meal the thought of making the mashed potatoes is a daunting one. Today I am sharing how to make these delicious, creamy, make ahead mashed potatoes that can be frozen weeks in advance and thawed and heated on the day of your gathering. This is like a casserole with delicious body and a creaminess you will love!

Being able to make dishes ahead of time for your holiday get togethers is a real bonus. You can actually work this into your meal plan and just make a big batch that includes enough for your menu meal as well as your holiday meal. So many things can be ticked off your list up to a month in advance and on your big day you will be calm, cool and collected.
