French Bread Roll Recipe
French bread roll is a small round loaf of bread eaten whole or dressed with filling between two halves similar to the sandwich.
Ingredients:
Egg 2
Salt 2 tsp
Butter 4 tbsp
Yeast 2 tbsp
Sugar 2 tbsp
Lukewarm milk 1 cup
All purpose flour 4 cup
Recipe:
Preheat oven at 200°C(350°F).
Add sugar, salt & yeast in milk and place in air tight chamber for 10 minutes for yeast to swell.
Add beated eggs with butter & whisk well.
Add flour and knead for 10 minutes to make stiff dough.
Cover dough with wet towl for 1 hour & place in close chamber.
Now deflate the dough & divide into equal parts.
Place dough balls into baking tray and egg wash them.
Sprinkle sesame seeds over dough balls and bake 180°C(400°F) for 20 minutes.
Egg wash and put them in plastic bag for 15 mins & then serve.
