1 1/2 cups of flour
1/2 cup ice cold water
4 oz cold unsalted butter or 8 tbsp. if you are using salted butter do not add any salt to the flour.
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup currants
1/4 tsp salt
dash of vanilla or almond essence
pinch of nutmeg
pinch of cinnamon - optional
