How to Cook Nigerian Assorted Meat Stew

Nigerian Assorted Stew is a type of stew with a pepper base sauce. It is called assorted stew because of the different types of beef, chicken & turkey added to the sauce.

This type of stew can be enjoyed with rice, bread, beans, fried plantain, eba, amala, pounded yam and many more.

Ingredients:

1 cup sunflower (or any oil of your choice)
Pepper sauce (4 red bell peppers, 3 scotch bonnet, 2 cans/tins tomato plums & 1 onion)
1 tsp curry powder
1 tsp mixed herbs
2 stock cubes (Knorr cubes)1/2 cup liquid stock or equivalent  (optional)
A pinch sea salt
6 pieces of  smoked turkey
Grilled beef, hard chicken & stripe
