Schezwan Chicken Sticks

Ingredients
Maida - 2 tablespoons
Cornflour - 4 tablespoons
White pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Red chilli sauce - 1/2 teaspoon
Egg (without yolk) - 1
Boneless chicken strips - 250 grams
Vegetable oil - 250 ml
Cooking oil - 30 ml
Chopped garlic - 20 grams
Chopped onion - 25 grams
Chopped ginger - 20 grams
Chopped green chillies - 3
Schezwan sauce - 2 tablespoons
White pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Water - 100 ml
Red chilli sauce - 1 tablespoon
Ground peanuts - 30 grams
Cornflour batter - 10 grams
Chopped spring onions - 2 tablespoons
Preparation
In a mixing bowl add maida, cornflour, white pepper, salt, red chilli sauce and egg white. Mix well. Add boneless chicken strips into the batter. Mix well. Deep fry till golden brown. Keep aside.
In a kadhai add cooking oil, chopped garlic, chopped onion, chopped ginger, chopped green chillies and mix well. Add schezwan sauce and mix well. Add white pepper, salt, water, red chilli sauce and ground peanuts. Mix well. Add cornflour batter and chopped spring onions. Mix well.
Insert skewer sticks into the fried chicken and lay them all on a flat serving tray. Pour the schezwan sauce mix over the chicken sticks. Garnish with ground peanut and chopped spring onions.
