Easy cooking for busy family's

Light, fluffy and easy! If your having folks over to watch a game or a reunion with family and friends, this is the recipe for you! Just fry up different meats like ham, sausage, smoked sausage, chicken, and gravy. They'll all be thrilled and satisfied or bake and freeze what you don't use and reheat in your oven or toaster oven or air fryer. These are great biscuits!!! The easy recipe is below:
You can use 2 cups self rising flour, 8 tblsp. salted butter and 1 cup of buttermilk and make a smaller number of biscuits if that's all you want.

4 cups self rising flour
16 tablespoons of salted butter
1 & 1/4 cups full buttermilk

Mix the flour and very cold cut up butter in the food processor until smooth. Pour into a large bowl and add the buttermilk, stirring just until it's combined. Pour the dough onto a well floured surface and sprinkle with more flour on top. Flatten them to 1/2 inch and cut out and place on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 450 F for 15 to 20 minutes. Enjoy!!! I added 1 tsp. of baking soda to the flour and mixed it in to give the biscuits a better rise.
