The cloth filter we used is from the Rumble Jar cold brew coffee maker ▸▸
INGREDIENTS:
Serves 1
3 Tbsp Thai coffee
3/4 cup of off-the-boil water
2 Tbsp sweetened condensed milk
2 tsp sugar
Pinch of salt
A lot of ice
2-3 Tbsp evaporated milk
INSTRUCTIONS:
Let the coffee steep in hot water for 3-5 minutes
In a mixing glass, combine condensed milk, sugar, and salt. When the coffee is ready, strain it into the mixing glass and stir to dissolve the sugar and the condensed milk. Taste the coffee; it should taste a little too dark and a little too sweet at this point.
When ready to serve, fill your glass completely with ice and pour the coffee over the ice. Top with evaporated milk and enjoy!
To make the iced coffee with a regular coffee at home follow the same steps but brew up a double strength french press so it isn't too diluted when poured over ice.
