Brussel Sprouts Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb. brussel sprouts, rinsed, dried, trimmed of brown spots, sliced in half
1 Tbsp. olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt
½ cup or more of fresh parmesan cheese, grated
Fresh lemon juice
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
Cover a baking pan with foil for easy clean up.
Place the clean, dried, cut, and trimmed brussel sprouts on the baking pan, add the oil and rub it in the sprouts well.
Add the minced garlic and repeat the rub in process coating all the sprouts. Season with salt by sprinkling it lightly over all. Be sure and spread the sprouts out over the pan in a single layer. They will roast better and not steam.
Roast in the oven for 12 to 13 minutes. Then flip the brussel sprouts over and top with the parmesan cheese. Place these back in the oven and roast for an additional 3 - 4 minutes or until the cheese melts.
