    Using a potato peeler, pare away the orange zest. Put the cranberries into a shallow dish and stab them with a fork. Put the fruit into 2 sterilised kilner jars, then add the vanilla extract, orange zest and the sugar.

    For this step you'll need:

    • 1 Orange(s)
    • 250g Cranberries
    • 1tsp Vanilla extract
    • 200g Unrefined golden caster sugar

    Pour over the vodka, seal the jars and leave for 2 weeks to mature. Make sure you shake the jars every couple of days until the sugar has dissolved.

    For this step you'll need:

    • 1l Vodka

    After 2 weeks, strain the liquid into a jug, pour into sterilised bottles, seal and label.

    This recipe will keep for up to 1 month if refrigerated. Serve chilled.
