Upside Down Peachy Custard cake
No Bake Cake | Custard cake (simple cake recipe)
Cake ingredients:
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp powdered milk
4 egg yolks
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp vanilla extract
Meringue:
4 egg whites
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 tsp white vinegar
Leche Flan ingredients:
4 whole eggs
1 cup evaporated milk
390g condensed milk
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup white sugar
Fillings and toppings:
480g Peaches
3 cups whip cream powder
1 1/2 cup very cold water
1 cup cashew nuts, crushed (optional)
Procedure:
1) Caramelize sugar: Melt sugar into a cake pan. Set aside
2) Leche Flan: Combine eggs, evapoarted milk. condensed milk and vanilla extract. Mix well
3) Strain mixture 3-4 times. Set aside
4) Cake procedure: Combine all purpose flour, powdered milk, white sugar, baking powder and salt
5) In a separate bowl combine egg yolks, water, oil and vanilla extract
6) Mix dry and wet ingredients. Set aside
7) Meringue: Beat egg whites until foamy
8) Add white vinegar and beat until soft peaks form
9) Gradually add sugar and beat until stiff peaks form
10)Fold mernigue into the cake batter
11)Assemble: Pour leche flan mixture into the cake pan
12)Gently pour cake batter on top of the flan mixture
13)Cook over med.low heat for 30-40 min.
14)Cool completely and remove cake from the pan
15)Flip cake upside down onto a plate
16)Flip cake again onto a cake board or onto other plate
17)Cut the cake(optional)
18)Whipped cream: Combine whip cream powder and very cold water
19)Whip on high speed until it turns into a whipped cream
20)Spread whipped cream on the cake
21)Add Peaches and add more whipped cream
22)Place half of the cake on top
23)Crumb coat: apply a thin layer of whipped cream
24)Chill cake for 5 min.
25)Frost the whole cake
26)Decorate the cake
