Black Forest Cake - Eggless and Without Oven

Preparation time: 1 hour 20 minutes
Serves: Half kg cake

Ingredients:

Wet set:
1/2 cup Water (125ml)
1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon Sugar (110g)
1/4 cup Oil (60ml)
1 tsp Vinegar or Lemon juice
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
1/4 tsp Coffee powder

Dry set:

1 cup Refined flour or Maida (125g)
3 tablespoon Cocoa powder (25g)
1 tsp Baking soda (3g)

For frosting:
Whipping cream 1.5 cup
Dark Chocolate 50g

Method:
1. Preheat a pan or cooker for 10 minutes on medium flame

2. Put all the ingredients listed under wet set in a blender jar & blend until frothy & fluffy. Blend from speed low to high in sequence and then blend in reverse speed in sequence.

2. Place a sieve and add mixing maida, cocoa powder & baking soda and sift

3. Mix well and make a lump free and flowy batter

4. Grease a 6" cake tin & line with baking sheet. Pour the batter in the cake tin. tap 3-4 times.
5.Bake for 40-45 minutes on low flame. Insert a toothpick, comes out clean, cake is done
6. let it cool completely. Refrigerate until needed.
7. Take chilled whipped cream in a bowl. Beat for 2-3 minutes on medium speed. Add Vanilla essence (and icing sugar optional) and beat for another 5-6 minutes or until stiff peaks. Refrigerate until needed.
8. Peel dark chocolate with a peeler. Refrigerate until needed.
9. Divide the cake in 3 layers. On first layer, soak with canned cherry syrup. Add whipped cream. Spread smooth. Add some chopped deseeded cheeries.
10. Put second layer. Repeat the frosting process.
11. Top layer. Repeat the process.
12. Cover the cake in whipped cream. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
13. Add another layer of whipped cream. Smooth it out.
14. Take a piping bag with star nozzle. fill whipped cream.
15. Make swirls on the edges of cake. Decorate with cherries
16. Spread chocolate shavings in the center.
17. Put chocolate shaving around the cake as well.
18. Black forest cake is ready. Keep in Fridge for at least 3 hours to set the cake well
