Who remembers Sugar Babi from when you were a child? What do did you call it, its irresistible right? Let me know in the comment section?
I know many of you will have Roti regularly, some even on the daily!
Roti is eaten with Curry regularly in most Indian houses, and it's good to the know that the recipe which has been passed down the generations for most of us generally the same!
I remember standing by my Grandmother's or Mums side eagerly awaiting a fresh Roti off the skillet (Tawa) and they would grab the nearest open packet of Anchor butter, fold the wrapping back, and spread the actual block as it melted all over the roti and then a good sprinkling of Sugar before rolling it up ready for me enjoy! I always remember those good days! Now I go through exactly the same with my children!
