Creamy Garlic Potatoes is a creamy, rich, cheesy dish which is perfect to serve in a dinner party or as a starter. The garlic undertone in the dish is a perfect addition which completes the dish and takes it to new heights.

CREAMY GARLIC POTATOES - (Serves - 4)

Ingredients

1 cup milk
1 tbsp chopped garlic
4-5 medium potatoes, peeled
1 tbsp oil
Salt to taste
4 spring onion with greens
1 tsp crushed black peppercorns + for garnishing
3 garlic cloves
1 tbsp butter

Method

1. Cut potatoes into cubes.
2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add chopped garlic and potatoes and mix well. Add salt, mix and toss.
3. Add ½ cup milk, stir, cover and cook.
4. Roughly chop spring onion bulbs. Reserve two of the spring onion green stalks.
5. Add chopped spring onion bulbs to the pan, mix well, cover and cook till the potatoes turn soft.
6. Roughly chop the reserved spring onion green stalks.
7. Add remaining milk, salt, half the chopped spring onion greens and 1 tsp crushed peppercorns. Mix well, cover and cook till done.
8. Add crushed garlic and butter, mix well and cook for a minute.
9. Serve hot garnished with crushed peppercorns and remaining chopped spring onion greens.
