Daar Na Bhajiya in Gujarati Black Eyed Fritters

Not only are these fritters or bhajiyas crunchy on the outside savory and soft in the inside, they are super easy to whip up and go so well with coconut chutney!
Ing:
1 cup black eyed peas (split)
1 cup chora (split)
Soak overnight for best results
2 tsp green chutney or 1 jalapeno
11/2 tsp ginger and garlic (optional)
1 small onion diced
2 tbsp fresh cilantro
salt to taste
Method:
Soak the black eye peas and the chora overnight, in the morning spill the water and run it under cold water massaging it this way it will loosen up the skin and spill out the water, do this three times then put in a colander so you can drain all the excess water. In a food processor put all the ingredients and blend it so it process it but don't crush it completely. Transfer to a bowl and beat it then fry it in oil on med high, make sure and turn them once light brown in color drain on a paper towel and enjoy with coconut chutney!
