The Dresden Stollen, originally called a "Striezel", must be Germany's most famous Christmas cake. It even lent its name to one of the country's oldest Christmas markets, Dresden's "Striezelmarkt". Every winter, millions of visitors come here to sample a real Dresden Stollen.
