These are a great alternative to traditional pendas or peras. Being guilt free and sugar free as well as low carb, it has been a lifesaver for my mom and I, it is my personal favorite and it's mother approved, goes really well with that hot cup of tea or coffee.
Ing:
2 cups Powder Milk
1 cup sugar free condensed milk
1 stick Butter or 1/2 cup
couple drops rose essence (optional)
couple drops red or pink food coloring (optional)
Method:
Melt the butter in the microwave then pour the condensed milk, milk powder, rose essence, and food coloring in a microwave safe bowl, and stir really well until all the ingredients have incorporated really well, next put it in the microwave for 1 minute, take out stir throughly do this six times, for a total of 7 min, at one minute intervals making sure to stir after every minute. The last minute remove from the microwave and beat it vigorously and let cool to where it is easy to handle! Now the fun part add some ghee to the palm of your hands and roll out than take a rose imprint and imprint it with the design, you will have to be very creative to find a rose imprint.
This makes about 25
Store on the counter for 3 days or about 15 to 20 days in the fridge.
This can also be frozen for 6 months
