How to make a Buttermilk Pound Cake
Recipe:
~3 cups of sifted all-purpose flour
~1 tsp of baking powder
~1 tsp of baking soda
~1/2 tsp of salt
~1 cup of butter(2 sticks) softened
~2 cups of sugar
~2 eggs
~1 tsp of vanilla extract
~1 cup of buttermilk
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350' F. Grease pan. Sift flour and stir in baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl, set aside. Beat softened butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla extract. Alternate stirring in flour and buttermilk until well combined. Pour batter into pan and cook for 35-40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Enjoy!
