To me, there is nothing better on a cold winter's day then curling up with a bowl of this deliciously soft and moist date filled cake that has been doused with a warm toffee sauce. It's sweet, it's sticky, and gooey, and moist, and it begs to be served warm from the oven with a extra helping of toffee sauce poured over top.
