Bhature is one of the most popular punjabi recipe, it is a fluffy deep-fried bread. It is often eaten with chickpea curry, chole or channe, making the traditional dish chole bhature. It is usually eaten as breakfast, sometimes accompanied with lassi.
Ingredients:
All purpose flour(maida)-250 gm
Curd/yogurt(at room temperature)-2 to 3 tbsp
Semolina/rava/sooji-2 tbsp
Baking powder-1/2 tsp
Baking soda -1/2 tsp
Salt-1/3 tsp
Sugar(powdered/normal)-1/2 tsp
Cooking oil for frying
