How To Make a Cornflake Tart

Today I’m showing you how to make a Cornflake Tart. Let’s get baking shall we?

Hey, welcome back. I’m Elliott and I upload weekly baking tutorials on how to make and bake almost anything. So why don’t you join me on this journey as I make and bake my way through the year, so don’t forget to subscribe to see more.

Ingredients - 

Pastry -
1 Egg.
90g Granulated sugar.
225g Butter.
375g Plain flour.

*Allow to chill in the fridge for between 30-60 minutes or over night*

Cornflake Filling -
115g Golden syrup.
55g Butter.
20g Granulated sugar.
20g Demerara sugar.
Pinch of salt.
85g Cornflakes.
100-150g Jam (I used strawberry but feel free to use any red berry jam).

Bake at 200˚c/400˚f for 15-20 minutes, then remove from the oven and fill with the cornflake filling and bake for a further 5-7 minutes.
