BADAM KATLI:

Ingredients
Powdered almonds - 1 cup
Sugar - ¾ cup
Saffron - few strands
Ghee - 1 tsp

Method:
Add just enough water to sugar with saffron and heat it till one string consistency.
Switch off the stove, add almond powder and keep stirring for few minutes until it forms a thick mass.
Add ghee and knead it well.
Roll out in between 2 greased plastic sheets. Cut into diamonds.
