3/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
3/4 cup Milo Powder
1 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
1/4 Tsp Salt
3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
3 Large Eggs
1/3 cup Melted Butter
MILO GANACHE
1 cup Evaporated Milk
1/2 cup Milo Powder
1/4 cup Sugar
1/2 Tbsp Flour
1/2 Tbsp Cornstarch
2 Tbsp Butter
Procedure
1. Grease (7x7 inch) square baking pan with cooking (vegetable oil, corn oil and canola oil). Line greased pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
2. In a bowl sift together flour, milo powder, sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix. Add in eggs and melted butter. Mix until smooth.
3. Pour cake batter into prepared baking pan. Tap to get rid of bubbles.
4. Place wire rack inside pan. Cover and preheat pan for 10 minutes over medium heat. Put cake pan on top of wire rack, cover and cook for 60 to 70 minutes over low medium heat or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let it cool.
5. In a pan combine evaporated milk, sifted milo powder, sugar, flour and cornstarch. Mix well. Turn on stove and stir over low heat until slightly thick. Add butter to make the ganache glossy. Turn off the heat after the butter melts.
6. Pour milo ganache on top of milo cake. Top with chocolate droplets. You can serve it right away or chill it in the fridge before serving.
Enjoy!
