Baby potatoes marinated in a masaledaar spice mix and baked perfectly, an amazing and easy to make starter for your house parties.

ACHARI ALOO TIKKA

Ingredients

20 baby potatoes, boiled and peeled
¼ cup hung yogurt
1½ tsps ginger-garlic paste
1½ tsps roasted gram flour
Salt to taste
¼ tsp chaat masala powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
¼ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp garam masala powder
¼ tsp dried fenugreek powder
2½ tsps mixed pickle paste
1 tbsp mustard oil
Butter for basting
Sprigs of coriander for garnish
Green chutney to serve

Method

1. Preheat at 180˚C and grease a baking tray with butter. Set aside.
2. In a bowl, add hung yogurt, ginger garlic paste, roasted gram flour, salt, chaat masala powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, dried fenugreek powder, mixed pickle paste, mustard oil, and whisk well.
3. Add the potatoes to the prepared paste and mix well. Marinate for 15-20 minutes.
4. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Baste with butter and transfer to a serving plate.
5. Garnish with sprigs of coriander and serve hot with green chutney.
