KIDS IN THE KITCHEN: Episode 4 | 2 Recipes for Irish Luck
It doesn't have to be St. Patrick's Day to get a taste of Irish Luck. You can have your own pot of gold, or at least your own Irish Gold Smoothie and bring all the colors of the rainbow with some Rainbow Rolls.
Today we are sharing two very fun recipes that are perfect for the month of March, or any time, filled with leprechaun fun. We have you have as much fun making them as we did:
IRISH GOLD SMOOTHIE
(with all the luck of the Irish :) )
1 Cup Almond Milk
1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
1 Cup Cantaloupe
1 Cup Pineapple
1 Cup Mango
1 Cup Orange Slices
1 Cup Ice
Instructions
Put in your liquid and protein powder first, then add in each of the fruits.
Finish off with some ice and blend until fully smooth.
RAINBOW ROLLS
Flatbread Wraps
6 Ounces crumbled feta
3 Tablespoons Greek yogurt
2 Tablespoons Riced Cauliflower
2 Tablespoons Diced Carrots
2 to 3 Mini Sweet Peppers Sliced in long strips
1/2 Diced Tomatoes
1/2 Cup Sliced Red Cabbage
Salt to Taste
Instructions
Combine the Feta cheese crumbles, yogurt, riced cauliflower, and diced carrots into a bowl and mix. It works great to use a fork to mash down the feta cheese crumbles.
Spread the dip onto a flatbread wrap
Layer thin rows of the cabbage strips, peppers, and tomatoes in alternating rows
Roll up the wrap and cut into 1-inch sections and plate
Enjoy!
