Make your family's weekend breakfast interesting, Nandita shows you how to make moringa leaf adai. It's a great twist to the regular pancakes. let us know how they turn out in the comment section below!

½ cup chana dal
½ cup rice
¼ cup oat flour (grind oats in mixer until you get a flour)
¼ cup ragi flour
1 cup finely chopped drumstick leaves
2-3 green chillies, finely chopped
1 tsp salt
Oil to make adais

Soak the chana dal and rice in a bowl of water for 4-6 hours or overnight. Grind this to a fine paste and remove into a large bowl. Mix in the oat and ragi flour, chopped drumstick leaves, green chilies and salt. Whisk to combine.
Heat a non-stick pan or cast iron skillet. Smear with some oil using kitchen paper.
Pour tablespoonfuls of batter around the tava (3-5 at a time depending on tava size). Drizzle some oil around the edges of all the adais. Cook over medium flame for 2-3 minutes per side until cooked and golden brown.
Serve hot with any chutney of choice.
