Sugar Cookie Recipe

Recipe:
(Makes 24 Cookies)
INGREDIENTS:
3/4 Cup Salted Butter
1 Cup White Sugar
2 Eggs
1/2 TSP Pure Vanilla
2 1/2 Cups of White Sugar
1 TSP Baking Powder

DIRECTIONS: In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and Vanilla. Stir in flour and baking powder. Cover and chill dough for at least 1 hour (or overnight).
Preheat oven to 400 Degrees F. Roll out dough on floured surface until 1/4-1/2 inch think. Cut into shapes and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 5-7 minutes depending on your oven. Cool completely before decorating.
