How to Make light and fluffy sultana scones the easy way. These super easy fruit scones are the perfect treat when guest drop in for a wonderful afternoon tea scone with friends.
INGREDIENTS
For 12 small scones or 8 larger ones depending on cutter size used
* 225 grams/8 oz Self raising flour
* 55 grams/ 2 oz Butter
* pinch of salt
* 25 grams/ 1 oz sultanas
* 25 grams/1 oz caster sugar
* 150ml /5 fluid ounces milk (plus a little to brush the top
Oven temperature Gas mark 7 or centigrade 220 or 425 Fahrenheit ( for 10-15 mins)
