For the dough-
4 1/2 cups bread flour OR all purpose Flour
5 tbsp. unsalted butter
1 tbsp. unsalted butter additional for brushing.
1 tbsp. and 1 tsp yeast
2 1/2 tsp wheat gluten - optional[ helps with softness]
1/4 cup water
3/4 cup whole milk / stayfresh / full cream
2 small eggs
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt

For the filling-
4 cups finely shredded coconut preferably without the brown skin
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup water
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp vanilla essence / extract
red / pink food colouring

for the glaze-
1/4 cup water
1/4 cu sugar
