Mango Sago't Gulaman Recipe
Ingredients
MANGO JELLY CUBES
1 pack (25g) Mango Flavored Gelatin Powder
6 cups water
1/3 cup sugar (optional)
HOW TO COOK MINI SAGO (TAPIOCA)
3/4 to 1 cup mini sago
6-7 cups water
CREAM MIXTURE
1 Big can (370ml) Evaporated Milk
1 Big can (300ml) Condensed Milk
1 pack (250ml) All-Purpose Cream
1/2 Tbsp mango powdered juice, optional
2 ripe mango, cut into small cubes (for the cream mixture)
1 ripe mango, cut into big cubes (for toppings)
Procedure
1. MINI SAGO. In a pot add 6-7 cups of water. Bring to a boil. Add mini sago (tapioca). Stir to avoid sago sticking together. Cover and cook over medium heat . Add water as needed until sago(tapioca) is cooked and translucent.
2. MANGO JELLY. In a pot or pan combine water, sugar(optional) and mango flavored gelatin powder. Stir to dissolved. Turn on stove and stir over medium heat until it boils. Pour mixture into a mold. Let it cool to set. Then cut mango jelly into cubes. Set aside.
3. In a big bowl or container combine evaporated milk, mango powdered juice (optional), condensed milk and all-purpose cream. Mix. Then add fresh mango cubes, mango jelly cubes and cooked mini sago(tapioca). Mix. Chill in ther ref before serving. You can serve it in clear plastic cup with lid. Top with mango cubes.
