Chocolate Rice Krispy Treats recipe - asimplysimplelife

Rice Crispy Treats recipe but with a chocolate twist. Perfect for bake sales, gatherings, birthday parties and for care packages to send to loved ones.

Chocolate Nuggets:
Rice Crispy (Krispie) Treat recipes

6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
3 Tblsp butter
1 bag of small marshmallows
1 cup semi-sweet/dark chocolates

Directions:

In a double boiler melt the chocolates
once melted add in the marshmallows
When fully melted mix in the rice kris pies (turn off the heat)
let cool a few minutes before forming a ball - "smoosh" down to get a good shape
Let it sit 30 minutes before placing it in an airtight container. Leave at room temperature.
