Gur/jaggery rice, is sweet rice, very popular in India. It is loved for its sweet and warm, aromatic flavor. Serves as a great dessert at the end of meals, especially in Winters.
Ingredients:
Rice ( 1cup)(200 gm)( Rinsed and soaked in water for at least 30 minutes)
Gur ( chopped 2/3 cup)(130 gm)
Milk ( 100 ml)
Desi ghee ( 2 tbsp)
Water (600 ml)
Chopped Nuts ( as desired)
Whole Spices ( Bay leaves, Cinnamon sticks, Cloves, Green cardamom)
