Super Easy Focaccia Recipe!! Noreen's Kitchen

Greetings! Today I made some really wonderful meat sauce in the crock pot with chicken and pork shoulder and thought since we were going to have pasta for supper I would take a little time to throw together some Focaccia to have with supper.

Focaccia is a wonderful spongy, soft flat bread with a crunchy crust and it can be flavored with whatever herbs you like or just left plain. The secret to this dough is a lot of olive oil. This is what will give the flatbread its spongy texture and deliciousness! This goes together with just a few ingredients and it is only a matter of allowing it to rise twice to get this beautiful pillowy bread that you cannot wait to bite into!

Focaccia is perfect with soups and pasta dishes. This will also make wonderful sandwiches if you allow it to cool completely and then split squares of the bread to make your favorite sandwiches or perfect panini!
