Detroit Style Pizza Sauce Recipe
This pizza sauce is great on our Detroit Deep Dish Pizza:
Ingredients:
796 mL (28 oz.) can crushed tomato
398 mL can whole tomatoes
5 mL (1 tsp) dried oregano
5 mL (1 tsp) dried basil
2 mL (½ tsp) salt
5 mL (1 tsp) sugar
5 mL (1 tsp) granulated garlic
15 mL (1Tbsp) onion powder
2 mL (½ tsp) pepper
5 mL (1 tsp) chili flakes
Fresh chopped basil

Method:
Mix everything in a pot and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
