For this smoked turkey recipe, we show you how to smoke a whole turkey on our Traeger Renegade Pro pellet grill.

Turkey Brine Section - 1:49

Grill Temperature - 300°
Target Internal Meat Temperature:
White Meat - 165° minimum
Dark Meat - 175° minimum
Estimated Cooking Time: 3-4 hours for a 10-12lb turkey

We start by teaching you how to brine a turkey to add some extra moisture and create a buffer for your cook. We'll also show you how we inject the turkey with extra flavor before getting it out on the smoker as well as the two stage rub that we use to give the bird a fantastic flavor.

Smoking a turkey has resulted in us having turkey much more often for dinner, and it's the only way that we'll make the main dish for Thanksgiving.
