The Two Sisters Ep. 4 | Mexican Guacamole
GUACAMOLE
INGREDIENTS
2 medium tomatoes
4 ripe avocados (to test, press gently,
it should give a little).
Juice of 1 lime
½ small onion
1 garlic clove
Small bunch of cilantro, chopped (about ¾ cup)
3 fresh jalapeno chiles
Salt and pepper
Cut the avocados in half, then remove the pits, then cut flesh in “squares”. Scoop the flesh out of the shells and place it in a bowl and stir in the lime juice.
Chop the onion finely, chop the tomatoes, then crush the garlic. Add to the avocado and stir in the cilantro.
Remove the stems from the chiles, slit them and scrape out the seeds with a small knife. Chop the chiles finely and add them to the avocado mixture.
Add salt and pepper to taste. Cover closely with plastic wrap and chill for 1 hour before serving.
Note: Always stir very gently with so the mixture doesn’t
get too mushy.
